July 23, 2009 p.m.terrell will be speaking during the Clarksville Writers Conference in Clarksville, Tennessee. At 2:30 pm on Thursday, July 23, the Tour Bus will stop at the Neely Log Cabin on Madison Street in Clarksville. p.m.terrell will show the Indian Escape Room built onto the house and provide the history of the Neely family's journey to Fort Nashborough, the building of their home, and the tragedies that befell the family as a result of numerous Indian attacks.
July 24, 2009 p.m.terrell will be present at the Catered Luncheon hosted by the Clarksville Writers Conference and Austin Peay State University from 11:50 am to 1:10 pm and the Conference Banquet at the Clarksville Country Club from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm. Both events are scheduled for Friday, July 24. The evening event will be followed by the "Meet the Authors" reception and book signing.
July 25, 2009 p.m.terrell will speak on "Captured by Shawnee Warriors: The True Story of Mary Neely" and "Writing the Historical Novel" at Austin Peay State University's Morgan University Center, Third Floor. (Follow Writers Conference signs to the parking lot.) Her talk begins at 1:15 pm on Saturday, July 25.
July 25, 2009 p.m.terrell will speak on "Keeping Them on the Edge of Their Seats: Writing the Suspense/Thriller" at Austin Peay State University's Morgan University Center, Third Floor. (Follow Writers Conference signs to the parking lot.) Her talk begins at 2:45 pm on Saturday, July 25.
September 20, 2009 p.m.terrell makes her first appearance in Tuscumbia, Alabama on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm! She will be speaking at Coldwater Books at 101 West 6th Street about her latest historical suspense, River Passage, based on the true journey of the Donelson Party in 1780. It is the second book in the Mary Neely series.
September 21, 2009 p.m.terrell will be conducting a special pre-release talk in Florence, Alabama on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 9:00 am at the University of North Alabama's East Campus at the Old Powell School. She will be speaking about the role that northern Alabama played in founding and settling the Cumberlands; the Indian attacks that took place at Muscle Shoals along the Tennessee River, and the true story behind the historical suspense/adventure, River Passage. The talk is free and open to the public and is followed by a signing of her historical books, Songbirds are Free and River Passage.
September 21, 2009 p.m.terrell will be speaking at the Maury County Public Library in Columbia, Tennessee on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 7:00 pm. She will be displaying a slide show about the harrowing true story of the Donelson Party and their journey westward in 1780. It was a journey that Mary Neely was on with her family, and one that inspired terrell's latest book, River Passage. The talk is free and open to the public and is followed by a signing of her historical books, Songbirds are Free and River Passage.
September 22, 2009 p.m.terrell will be conducting a special encore talk at the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library located at 350 North Wood Avenue in Florence, AL on September 22 at 12:00 Noon. She will speak about the sequel to River Passage, Songbirds are Free, and the true story of the abduction and captivity of Mary Neely by Shawnee warriors from 1780 to 1783. Her talk will be followed by a signing of all of her books.
September 22, 2009 You won't want to miss the nationwide launch for p.m.terrell's latest historical suspense/adventure, River Passage, based on the true story of Mary Neely and the ill-fated Donelson voyage of 1780. On September 22 at 7:00 pm, terrell will speak at the Nashville Metro Archives about this exciting journey facing Chickamauga Indians, a small pox epidemic, near starvation and frostbite, and showing the photographs taken as she followed the Donelson Party's river voyage westward from Virginia to Fort Nashborough.
September 24, 2009 p.m.terrell will be speaking at the Columbia, TN Rotary Club on Thursday, September 24 at 11:30 AM. She will be discussing the founding of Nashville and the settling of Middle Tennessee with fascinating information about John Donelson's first voyage from Virginia to Fort Nashborough in 1779-1780 and her latest book, River Passage.
September 24, 2009 p.m.terrell will be signing her latest book, River Passage, and speaking to fans about the true story behind the book in the lobby of the First Farmers and Merchants Bank located at 816 South Garden Street. Book signing begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm.
September 25, 2009 p.m.terrell will be speaking at the Columbia, TN Kiwanis Club on Friday, September 25 at 11:30 AM. October 6, 2009 p.m.terrell will be interviewed by host Valerie Connelly on Calling All Authors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday, October 6 at 5:00 pm. She will be discussing her latest book, River Passage, and writing historical adventures inspired by true stories.
October 15, 2009 p.m.terrell returns to the Osterneck Auditorium in beautiful downtown Lumberton, North Carolina on October 15 at 7:00 pm for a presentation on her latest book, River Passage, the exciting new adventure/ suspense about the true story of Mary Neely and her journey westward with the ill-fated Donelson Party in 1780.
