April 1, 2008 p.m.terrell continued her Mississippi Tour at the Clinton Public Library at 111 Clinton Blvd in Clinton, Mississippi. The event was hosted by the Friends of the Library. It included a Brown Bag Luncheon and a special slide show depicting Mary Neely's true story and the story behind the writing of terrell's latest book, Songbirds are Free. The event was followed by a signing of all her books.
March 31, 2008

p.m.terrell appeared in Mississippi for the first time with a kick-off at the Central Mississippi Regional Library in Brandon, Mississippi. The event began at 6:00 p.m. with a special slide show depicting Mary Neely's true story and the story behind the writing of terrell's latest book, Songbirds are Free. The event was followed by a signing of all her books.

March 13, 2008 p.m.terrell returned to Fun & Fellowship in Lumberton, North Carolina, where she spoke about her latest book, Songbirds are Free, and the true story of Mary Neely's abduction at the height of the Revolutionary War. The talk began at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church on Chestnut Street in the Fellowship Hall.

p.m.terrell spoke to the Daughters of the Revolution (DAR) in Lumberton, North Carolina, about the true story of Mary Neely's abduction at the height of the Revolutionary War on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. The talk was followed by a book signing of her latest books.
December 13, 2007 p.m.terrell appeared at the Powhatan Public Library at 2270 Mann Road in Powhatan, Virginia on December 13, 2007. She displayed a slide show with pictures taken during her time retracing Mary Neely's path after her Indian abduction, and spoke about Mary's captivity and eventual escape and journey home. The talk was followed by a book signing of her latest books.
December 4, 2007 p.m.terrell was a guest on Global Talk Radio's program, Calling all Authors, on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. She discussed her latest book, Songbirds are Free, and the true story of Mary Neely. She also discussed the differences between writing and promoting an historical work versus her earlier contemporary suspense books. Listen to the entire radio program here.
November 10, 2007 p.m.terrell spoke at a meeting of the Staunton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Staunton, Virginia on Saturday, November 10, 2007. Many thanks to all of the wonderful people there, including Chapter President Janie Sherman. Terrell spoke about the true story of Revolutionary War Era settler Mary Neely and her Indian capture.

p.m.terrell returned to Waynesboro, Virginia for the fourth annual Book 'Em Virginia! event on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

More than 60 authors, including New York Times Best-Selling Authors Catherine Coulter and Ellen Hopkins and scores of award-winning authors signed their books and provided free talks. Also attending was Dirk Robertson, who has returned four years in a row from Scotland!

p.m.terrell, along with Officer Mark Kearney of the Waynesboro, Virginia Police Department, founded The Book 'Em Foundation in 2004. For more information, go to www.bookemfoundation.org.

October 9, 2007 p.m.terrell spoke at The Williamson County Public Library at 1314 Columbia Avenue in Franklin, Tennessee. This event was open to the public.

The event began at 7:00 PM with a discussion of the true story behind Songbirds are Free - Mary Neely's capture by Indians near Fort Nashborough, her two years in captivity, and her escape. The talk was followed by a book signing. Thank you, Janice Keck, for arranging the event. And a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to the special lady who has carried Mary's memory with her for the past 22 years!

October 8, 2007 p.m.terrell spoke at a joint meeting of book clubs at The Westhaven Residence Hall in Franklin, Tennessee. This event was also open to the public. The event began at 6:30 PM with wint and cheese. p.m.terrell's talk begans at 7:00 pm in the theatre, where she showed a film of Mary Neely's travels and experiences. The talk was followed by a book signing of all of her suspense/thrillers. Many thanks to Connie Brewer and the wonderful staff at The Residence Hall for hosting the event.
October 8, 2007 p.m.terrell spoke to four classes at The Martin Luther King Magnet School in Nashville, Tennessee. She displayed a slide show of the places Mary traveled and the people and things she encountered after her Indian capture. Many thanks to School Librarian Cami Townsel for facilitating the event!
October 7, 2007

p.m.terrell toured the real log cabin home built by Mary Neely's father, William, only a few short months before his death and Mary's Indian capture. Many thanks to JoAnn Weakley of Historic Collinsville for locating the house, and to Nate Karlin for making the story front page news! Read the online article here. After the media event and tour, Ms. Terrell had a private meeting with proprietor Phila Hach, who rescued the home from destruction in 1968. Thank you for your hospitality!
October 6, 2007 p.m.terrell appeared at Mansker's Station in Goodlettsville, Tennessee in conjunction with Mansker's Station's Fall Encampment. She spoke twice during the day and was available all day for signings of her latest book. Special thanks to Ashley Staley, who arranged the talks and signing. Ms. Terrell's latest release, Songbirds are Free, continues to be available at the Mansker's Station Gift Shop.

The day began with Ms. Terrell's talk at a special joint meeting of the Columbia Rotary Club and Columbia Kiwanis Club, followed by a book signing.

Then around the block to the headquarters building of F & M Bank, where Ms. Terrell continued to sign books for a steady stream of visitors for more than two hours! May 23, 2007 Thank you, Cario Middle School of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, for rolling out the red carpet for p.m.terrell on May 23! Ms. Terrell enjoyed speaking to approximately 1,200 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students as well as a special, hand-picked group of 100 students interested in a writing career. Thank you for making the day so enjoyable!
March 23-24, 2007 p.m.terrell spoke at the Writer's Seminar in the Spring Book Show 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia, where authors and publishers came together for two full days of events! She spoke about the author's role in planning book tours and signings, obtaining media attention, and what to do-and not do-at book signings and appearances.
February 12, 2007 p.m.terrell appeared at another book club in Lumberton, North Carolina as a guest of Martha Averitt, where she discussed her latest books, the exciting line-up of authors appearing at the Osterneck Auditorium in Lumberton, and the true stories behind her books.

January 23, 2007 p.m.terrell appeared at the Ashtole Book Club in Fairmont, North Carolina on January 23. She discussed the true stories behind her suspense/thrillers Kickback, The China Conspiracy and Ricochet!

p.m.terrell appeared at The Osterneck Auditorium in Lumberton, North Carolina on Thursday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. She spoke to aspiring writers about how to Take the Mystery Out of Promoting Your Book! She provided valuable information on the writing life, the publishing industry, the author's role in promotional campaigns, and tips on scheduling book tours and signings, getting the necessary press to make your events a success, and lots more!

November 29, 2006 Thank you, Kiwanis Club of Lumberton, North Carolina for giving p.m.terrell such a warm reception at the luncheon on Wednesday, November 29 at the Black Water Grille. p.m.terrell spoke to the Hopewell Community Writer's Group at the First Presbyterian Church Annex in Hopewell, Virginia at 4:30 pm on Thursday, November 16. She discussed the publishing industry, the writing life and her latest books, Take the Mystery Out of Promoting Your Book and her latest suspense/thriller, Ricochet. The talk was followed by a signing. Many thanks to all the folks who came out to see her, especially with strong storms and tornadoes throughout the east coast!
November 9, 2006 p.m.terrell spoke at The Reviewer's Club in Lumberton, North Carolina. Their motto is "To Read is to Grow." She discussed her newest books, Ricochet and Take the Mystery out of Promoting Your Book, and signed books at this special event. p.m.terrell Goes to Hollywood!

p.m.terrell traveled to Hollywood with a special delegation of Sisters in Crime members to meet screenwriters and producers, including a breakfast at Sony Studios and a walking tour with sneak peeks of shows and movies in production and a private meeting with industry executives. Talks are currently underway to bring her books to the big screen.

October 20-21, 2006 p.m.terrell appeared at the Crystal Coast Book Festival in Morehead City, North Carolina. She was one of the guest authors honored at a dinner and fund-raiser entitled "A Murderous Affair at the Waterfront" on Friday evening, October 20 at 6:30 pm. The following day, she conducted a talk, reading, and discussion of her books at the Morehead City Public Library, followed by a book signing.
October 14, 2006 p.m.terrell appeared at the Third Annual Book 'Em Event in Waynesboro, Virginia, along with dozens of her friends in the literary world. The event was held at the Waynesboro High School and sponsored by the City of Waynesboro. The Waynesboro Police Department was the host. The event included dozens of talks as well as book signings. ms. terrell is a proud co-founder of The Book 'Em Foundation, which promotes and funds literacy projects.
October 12, 2006 She appeared at The Work Factory at 1113 W. Main Street in Richmond, Virginia on Thursday, October 12 at 6:00 pm - home of Work Magazine and dozens of popular mainstream fiction and non-fiction! She spoke about the path to publishing and the author's role in the promotional campaign.
October 3, 2006 Thank you, Rotary Club of Lumberton, North Carolina for giving p.m.terrell such a warm reception at the luncheon on Tuesday, October 3 at the Black Water Grille. She spoke about the true stories behind her suspense/thrillers, Kickback, The China Conspiracy and Ricochet. Thank you, B.G.French, for the invitation to appear.
September 16, 2006 p.m.terrell participated in The First Writer's Rally in Charleston, South Carolina on September 16, 2006. The event was hosted by Southern Charleston University. A portion of all book sales were donated to Parents Anonymous. Dream-a-lot Books handled sales. More than a dozen authors were available to talk to attendees and sign books at this event.

Thank you, Lumberton, North Carolina for the warm reception held at the Osterneck Auditorium on Thursday, September 14, 2006 in honor of p.m.terrell's latest suspense/thriller, Ricochet.

Robeson County Public Library hosted the event. p.m.terrell spoke about the role Lumberton and Robeson County played in the book.

It was announced at this event that Lumberton High School has selected terrell's book, Ricochet, as a reading assignment this school year!

March 25, 2006 p.m.terrell appeared at the Virginia Festival of the Book on Saturday, March 25 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Other authors attending the Festival included David Baldacci, Barbara Kingsolver and many others. You could find p.m.terrell at the Palari Publishing booth. Palari is releasing her upcoming how-to book for authors entitled Taking the Mystery out of Book Signings. It will be released this fall along with the much-anticipated sequel to Kickback, entitled Ricochet!

March 21, 2005  Three of p.m.terrell's poems were published online in the Sisters in the Lord Magazine during the week of March 21. 
Entire month of March, 2005  p.m.terrell "appeared" online at Boomer Women Speak during the entire month of March, where she was available to chat with visitors online about the writing life and The China Conspiracy.
March 12, 2005  p.m.terrell appeared at the Writer's Workshop at the Chesterfield Library in Chesterfield, Virginia. She spoke on "Taking the Mystery out of Mysteries", the writing life, and the publishing industry. The event was sponsored by the Friends of the Library. February 2, 2004  p.m.terrell hosted the second round of the wildly successful Writer's Workshop at The Little Professor Book Center in Chesterfield, Virginia to a standing-room-only audience. January 31, 2004  p.m.terrell spoke at the District Meeting of the Optimist Club in Midlothian, Virginia. Her speech was followed by a signing of her suspense/thrillers, Kickback and The China Conspiracy. Ms. Terrell donated 50% of the proceeds to The Optimist Club's Childhood Cancer Campaign, raising $445 to help combat childhood cancer.
January 5, 2004  The new year started off with a bang at Little Professor Book Center, where the first group of the Writer's Workshop attendees completed the six-month course by reading excerpts from their manuscripts. December 12, 2003  p.m.terrell spoke about the writing life and publishing industry at Waynesboro Public Library in Waynesboro, Virginia. The event was followed by a signing. Proceeds from the sale of her books went to Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers.

The Writer's Workshop at Little Professor Book Center was standing room only on December 1 at 6:30 pm, when p.m.terrell discussed "From Getting Your Book Sold to Getting it SOLD".

Many thanks to all the wonderful folks who attended the Writer's Workshop over the past six months. In January, students will be reading from their own manuscripts written throughout this six-month course!

November 30, 2003  Although p.m.terrell appeared at Books-a-Million in Potomac Mills at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 30, there were no books in stock for her to sign, of either Kickback or The China Conspiracy. Her apologies to all the fans who came out to purchase her books!
November 29, 2003  p.m.terrell made her first appearance at Books-a-Million in Staunton, Virginia. Many thanks to the staff there and all the great folks who made the signing a success!
November 28, 2003  p.m.terrell came close to selling out of both Kickback and The China Conspiracy at B. Dalton Booksellers at Chesterfield Town Center on Friday, November 28. Only three books remained at the end of the signing!
November 23, 2003  p.m.terrell appeared at Chesapeake Square Mall on Sunday, November 23 in support of Chesapeake Crime Line. Forty percent of the proceeds from the sale of her books, Kickback and The China Conspiracy, were donated to Chesapeake Crime Line to help in paying rewards to anonymous callers providing information helpful to law enforcement in solving crimes.

November 3, 2003  p.m.terrell conducted the Writer's Workshop at Little Professor Book Center in Chesterfield, Virginia. This month's topic: The Publishing Industry: Getting an Agent and a Publisher. November 1, 2003  p.m.terrell was the keynote speaker at Delta Kappa Gamma Society International's annual conference, hosted by the Zeta Chapter at Meadowbrook Country Club in Chesterfield, Virginia. She spoke on the important role that teachers play in encouraging students to write and read. Be sure to check back for pictures and more information on this event.
October 23, 2003  p.m.terrell spoke at N.B.Clements Jr. High School in Prince George, Virginia. Her talk included the story behind the writing of Kickback, her debut suspense/thriller; her involvement with Crime Solvers; and inventions that have helped aspiring authors. October 22, 2003  p.m.terrell was the keynote speaker at the Celebrate Women! conference held in Front Royal, Virginia. Her speech was followed by a signing of Kickback and The China Conspiracy.
October 17, 2003  p.m.terrell appeared at Rolleighdon Books in beautiful, picturesque Farmville, Virginia, where she signed copies of Kickback and The China Conspiracy. Many thanks to the wonderful folks who came to see her there! This wonderful, quaint book store is definitely worth a drive to experience.
October 16, 2003  p.m.terrell spoke to The Hopewell Writer's Group about Character Development and tricks-of-the-trade in developing believeable, well-rounded characters. The talk was followed by a signing of Kickback and The China Conspiracy.
October 6, 2003  p.m.terrell conducted the Writer's Workshop at Little Professor Book Center in Chesterfield, Virginia. This month's topic was Writing is Rewriting, which included an overview of the various forms of editing, as well as what to expect from the editor(s) at the publishing house.
